Museums in Magdeburg

If you buy an admission ticket for the art museum, you can also visit the Kulturhistorisches Museum / Museum für Naturkunde Magdeburg and the Dommuseum Ottonianum Magdeburg within thirty days for reduced admission.


* The following are entitled to a reduction in accordance with the schedule of fees: Groups of 12 people or more, schoolchildren and trainees up to the age of 21, students up to the age of 25, severely disabled persons (ID), social assistance recipients within the meaning of SGB II and SGB XII, holders of the Otto City Card (formerly Magdeburg Pass).

Free entry for members of the German Museum Association and ICOM on presentation of a valid ID.


ACCESSIBILITY

Access to the museum is barrier-free. The rooms of the special exhibitions on the 1st and 2nd floors can be reached via the elevator in the south stairwell. The courtyard and the church are accessible via a ramp for the disabled and wheelchair users. In addition, the shop, café and toilet are barrier-free.

Dogs are not allowed in the museum with the exception of guide dogs and other designated medical assistance dogs.

You can choose between three tours (collection, architecture, sculpture park) or explore the museum on your own. The tours are available in German and English.

The multimedia guide is free of charge and can be borrowed at the cash desk against a deposit of 20.00 EUR.
